Tree Plantation Drive Launched Under Urban Greening Initiative Hallanayakkanahali | August 10, 2025 As part of its Urban Greening Initiative, Rotary HSR, Hallanayakkanahali Grama Panchayat, and ESAF Foundation have jointly launched a large-scale tree plantation drive aimed at enhancing green cover and contributing to climate change mitigation. The initiative will see the planting of nearly 750 saplings across key locations, including the lake premises, unused public spaces, and along streets, to promote environmental sustainability and improve the local ecosystem. The program was inaugurated by Ms. Savitha Babu Reddy, President of Hallanayakkanahali Grama Panchayat, in the presence of Mr. Jaya Chakravarthy, Secretary of Rotary HSR, and Mr. Vijayakumar, Coordinator of Rotary HSR.
